Wave Rider is a relaxing but tricky surfing game. You stand on a board at the top of a jungle river and the current carries you forward past lily pads, ducks, reeds, waterfalls and wooden huts. Steer left and right to avoid rocks and posts, pick up glowing seashells, and see how many metres you can travel before you crash. Seashells are the money of the game, and a treasure chest gives you free rewards when its timer ends. Daily missions such as collecting 20 seashells in one run or landing on 5 rocks give you extra prizes every day. If you like endless rides, also try Slope and Space Waves.
Press anywhere on the title screen to start. Hold the mouse and move left or right, or use the arrow keys, to steer the board. Turn a little before each bend, because the water pushes you to the outside of the curve. Follow the lines of seashells, since they often show the safest path. On the first visit, press Start New Game and then Local Play if it appears, and your progress will be saved in this browser.
