Escape Road is where the series began. You are behind the wheel of a getaway car seen from above, and the moment the run starts police cruisers pour out of every side street to chase you down. The city is packed with buildings, parked cars, narrow alleys and junctions where you have to make a decision in a fraction of a second. There is no finish line; the goal is to stay free for as long as possible while picking up cash along the way. Every few seconds the police get more aggressive, sending more cars and setting up blockades, so the first minute feels easy and the third feels like chaos. The money you earn unlocks faster and tougher cars in the garage, which makes the next run last longer. Once you have mastered this one, the follow-ups Escape Road 2 and Escape Road City 2 add new maps and more traps.
Steer with the left and right arrow keys or A and D; press up or W to go faster and down or S to brake or reverse when you get stuck. Your car keeps moving on its own, so most of the skill is in choosing a good line through the streets. Use sharp turns at corners to make chasing cars crash into walls or into each other. Avoid head-on hits with buildings, because stopping even for a second lets the police box you in. Grab the cash and power-ups you pass, but do not take a dangerous detour for them. Save up for a car with better handling before chasing top speed, since control matters more than raw speed in tight streets.
