The Man from the Window looks like a cute storybook at first. Mama Rabbit comes home late from work and finds little Junior Rabbit still awake, frightened by a book about a strange visitor who comes at night. She tells him it is only a story. Then the tapping on the window begins. From that moment you have very little time to protect your child: lock the doors, block the entrance with furniture, find a hiding place and hope the man does not look there. The book Junior was reading turns out to be the most important clue in the house, because it describes where the man searches. His behavior is partly random, so a plan that works once may fail the next time, and the game has several endings depending on who he finds. The soft art style makes the scares hit even harder. If short horror stories are your thing, also try Backrooms.
Move with W, A, S, D, look around with the mouse and click to interact with doors, furniture and objects. As soon as the tapping starts, act fast: lock every door you can reach and push a chair or the couch in front of the front door. Read the book carefully, because it hints at the places the man checks, and choose hiding spots he is least likely to search. Think about Junior too, not only yourself, since the night is lost if either of you is caught. If you get a bad ending, change the order of your actions or try different hiding spots on the next run; there is a good ending for players who get everything right.
