Pumpkin Panic unblocked is a farming game with a horror twist. You wake up in bed as a boy with a carved pumpkin for a head, and a voice nags you to get up and start working. The farm is a pretty, fenced patch of land surrounded by dark pine trees, with a well, a field, a fishing spot and plenty of resources to collect. Doing chores earns you what you need to buy new outfits, improve your tools and open up more of the property. The problem is what lives in the forest. Every so often the mood of the farm changes, and that is your signal that a hungry creature is on its way - from then on it is all about running for cover and staying out of sight until the danger passes. Players who liked the unsettling farm in Andy's Apple Farm or the hiding games like Granny should give this a try.
Walk with W, A, S and D, look around with the mouse and press F to interact - even getting out of bed at the start is done with F. Follow the chores the game gives you: tend the field, pull water from the well, collect materials and go fishing, then spend what you earn on better tools and new clothes. Before you get too comfortable, walk around the whole farm and memorise the places where you can hide. As soon as the air starts to feel different, stop working and head straight for cover rather than finishing your task. Upgrading your tools early is a smart move, because faster work means less time standing out in the open when the monster might show up.
