Into Space 2 is a launch-and-upgrade game built on one very satisfying loop: fire a rocket into the sky, see how far it gets, spend what you earned, and go again. Your first attempt will barely clear the clouds, because your ship starts with a weak engine, a tiny fuel tank and no protection at all. What you do with the money from that flight decides everything - better engines for raw thrust, bigger tanks so you can burn for longer, stronger hulls to survive collisions, aerodynamics to cut through the atmosphere, and boosters to save a launch that is stalling out. In the air you are not a passenger either: you steer around asteroids and debris, dive for fuel canisters and cash pickups, and decide when to spend a limited boost. Missions and achievements layer objectives on top of the distance chase, giving you reasons to fly differently rather than just further. Each run takes a minute or two, which makes the upgrade curve genuinely addictive. If you like launch-and-upgrade games, you might also like Learn to Fly 3 and Burrito Bison.
Steer your rocket left and right with the arrow keys or A and D as it climbs, weaving around asteroids and debris while lining up the fuel canisters and coins floating in your path. Press Space or the boost key to fire your booster - save it for moments when your speed is dropping rather than burning it at the start. Collect every fuel pickup you can reach, because running dry ends the flight instantly. Back on the ground, spend your earnings on engines and fuel capacity first, since those raise your ceiling more than anything else early on.
