Bowmasters

Bowmasters from Playgendary is a turn-based duelling game built around one deceptively simple action: aim a throw and let it fly. Two characters stand on opposite sides of the screen and take alternating shots, and each one comes with their own ridiculous weapon - longbows, axes, spears, frying pans, bones and stranger things besides. Every projectile flies on its own arc, so you are constantly reading the gap between you and your opponent and adjusting both the angle and the power of your throw. Miss and your rival gets a free swing at you; land a clean headshot and the exaggerated ragdoll physics do the rest. The roster is huge and every character feels noticeably different to aim with, which keeps the one-more-round pull alive far longer than the simple controls suggest. It works just as well as a quick solo distraction as it does passing a keyboard back and forth with a friend. If you like physics-driven aiming duels, you might also like Ragdoll Archers and Stickman Archero Fight.

How to Play?

Control and achieve victory:

Click and hold on your character, then drag backwards to set up your throw. The direction you drag sets the angle and the distance you pull sets the power, so a short pull sends a weapon on a high, slow arc while a long pull fires it hard and flat. Release to throw. Watch where your shot lands, then use that miss to correct your next attempt - a little more angle if you fell short, a little less power if you sailed over. Aim for the head whenever you can, because head hits deal far more damage and can end a duel outright.
