AdVenture Capitalist by Hyper Hippo is the idle game that turned a lemonade stand into a genre. You start with one stand and a single manual click, and every cent you make goes back into buying more stands, then newspaper delivery routes, car washes, pizza deliveries, donut shops, shrimp boats, hockey teams and eventually an oil company. The turning point comes when you can afford managers: hire one and that business runs itself forever, so your empire keeps printing money while you do something else entirely. On top of that sit upgrades, multipliers and angel investors - a prestige system that lets you wipe the board in exchange for a permanent boost that makes the next run dramatically faster. The loop is simple to understand and shockingly hard to put down, because there is always one more milestone just a few seconds of waiting away. Click a business to earn its profit manually, then click the buy button beside it to add more units - use the buy multiplier to purchase 10, 100 or the maximum you can afford at once. As soon as a manager becomes affordable, buy them: that business will then collect its own income automatically and you never need to click it again. Spend spare cash on upgrades and milestone bonuses to multiply your earnings, and when progress slows down, reset through the angel investor screen to bank permanent multipliers for your next run.
